We had the honor to recently attend the NYSE bell ringing ceremony along with Federated Hermes.
Trading floor bells are critical to the orderly functioning of the marketplace, assuring that no trades take place before the opening or after the close. It was an exciting day which started with some insightful sessions with Federated’s Senior Portfolio Managers and Strategists. The team at Federated walked us through their outlook on the equity and bond markets and critical trends in portfolio management.-
The day wrapped up with us joining them for a tour of the NYSE and the bell ringing at the close of the market. If we were orchestra members, it was like playing with the NY Philharmonic or having sideline passes to the Super Bowl. It was a thrilling day to visit the iconic trading floor and to be a part of the ceremony.
