The Wait is Almost Over!

new-account-viewYou know what it’s like… waiting for a big day to arrive. Maybe it’s the birth of your first grandchild, or that acceptance letter for your child to get into college, or maybe even that day you can officially retire. Well, for us at HMC Partners, one of those anticipated dates we’ve been waiting on is the release date for the New Account View!!! Good News!!! The wait is almost over!! What is the release date?

On Monday, September 30, 2013, the client portal and old account view will be gone and the new and improved Account View will be here! You will be able to access the new system from ANY computer device. Yes, from your smartphone, iPhone, tablet, iPad, PC or Mac! Plus you can use ANY internet browser! Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari… it doesn’t matter which is your preference…they will all work! What do I need to do?

If you have already received an email from me, you know that your account access will transfer to the new system! If you have not received an email and have not actively logged in to Account View in at least the last 9 months, then we will need to set up your access.

If you would like to be set up, please send an email to me, Kathy Clark, ( with your name, and the email address you’d like to use as your username. If you do that I’ll be happy to set you up so you’ll get to enjoy the benefits of the new system! What’s New?

When you log on, you will immediately notice it will look different! In preparation for this, I would encourage you to watch this short intro video:

From your home page, you have easy access to your account portfolio, quotes, market performance, news and the following additional highlights:

1. Your total portfolio value and any changes in value that occurred during the day 2. The ability to go green – mailings of statements and trade confirmations are eliminated 3. Financial information you can export for further analysis or tracking 4. A pie chart that displays how your investments are allocated 5. A graph that presents the growth of your portfolio over a specified period of time (e.g., the current year-to-date, all available time frames, the last 12 months, previous year or custom time frame).


What’s the verification process?

We will email all users a guide with step-by-step instructions on how to set up your account in the new system.

You will need to be at a desktop computer for the initial setup and go through a quick 15 step verification process. This process will include entering your username, your existing password, entering your social security number, entering one of your LPL account numbers, and your zip code. In preparation for this set up, if you do not know your LPL Account number, please call Kelly Fisher in our office in advance and she will be happy to assist you. Prepare Ahead!

We expect there will be a lot of calls and questions on Monday, September 30th. Take time in advance to gather your account number, you username, and your password. Take time to watch the intro video. Call or email our office if you have any questions! We know with any new technology release there may be a few issues at the beginning. We will do our best to help you through this process and help you with any issues.
